'Supernatural' Season 10 Spoilers: Promo Video For Episode 10 Teases Charlie And Metatron's Return [WATCH VIDEO]

A promo video for "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 10 has been released to give a preview on what will happen next in the CW TV series following the mid-season finale episode titled "The Things We Left Behind." Familiar faces are set to appear in the brand new episode when "Supernatural" returns from its long holiday break on January 2015.

As a recap, the mid-season finale episode showed the effect of the Mark of Cain on Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles). Team Free Will must act quickly in removing the dangerous mark on the hunter before he goes down on a dark path again.

Most of the scenes in the "Supernatural" Season 10, episode 10 titled "The Hunter Games" promo video shows a dark and violent Dean minus the black demon eyes after Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Castiel (Misha Collins) cured him in episode 3 titled "Soul Survivor." In the promo video, actress Felicia Day returns as Charlie Bradbury and the red-haired character is seen facing the dark side of Dean Winchester.

"There's the Dean I love," Charlie declared before Dean punched her in the face. Another person that Dean Winchester had no problem punching in the face is Metatron (Curtis Armstrong). Castiel's angel nemesis returns but Metatron is no longer locked up in his Heaven prison.

The promo video shows Metatron chained up on a chair in one of the holding rooms of the Men of Letters bunker. Metatron's situation appears to be similar to Crowley's (Mark Sheppard) in "Supernatural" Season 9 when the Winchester brothers chained and locked up the King of Hell in the Men of Letters bunker.

"That's fantastic!" Metatron stated before Dean punched his face and the promo video ended. Watch the "Superanatural 10x10 Promo 'The Hunter Games' (HD)" trailer below.

Meanwhile, the storyline on the Mark of Cain is expected to be over before the end of season 10. A Carter Matt report noted down that it would be interesting to have a new mythology to deal with in the CW TV series. The released promo video also revealed that "Supernatural" Season 10 will return to the television screens on Jan. 20, 2015 after the lengthy hiatus due to the holiday season.
