Chucklefish Games’ “Stardew Valley” multiplayer has been teased in a new screenshot. The game has been available on PC for a year now and has been made playable on consoles only recently. The developer is keeping fans interested in every possible way it can.

Chucklefish Games’ Tom Coxon recently tweeted two almost similar photos with the caption “Number 1 skill required for adding multiplayer to a game is being good at playing spot-the-difference #gamedev.” The tweet has been shared below.

According to the tweet, the images are basically perspectives of two different players in one game, and the left image has significantly more gold than the other. This could be a hint showcasing the advantages of playing “Stardew Valley” multiplayer. Competition will be tough but more rewarding. The development of the multiplayer mode is still ongoing and no release date has been set for the game yet. Chucklefish Games has also confirmed a physical release for the console version of the game.

The “Stardew Valley” collector’s edition costs just US$29 (AU$40 approx) and has only a handful of items. Items included in the physical version are Pelican Town map fold-out poster, “Stardew Valley” soundtrack and a mini version of Kari Fry’s guidebook. The game is also a part of the Nintendo Switch line-up. “Harvest Moon” inspired “Stardew Valley” allows players a lot of freedom with characters. Depending on play style, players inheriting a plot of land must choose between lands.

According to Polygon, the “Stardew Valley” physical Collector’s Edition is set for an April 11 release on Xbox One and PS4. Chucklefish Games has partnered with publisher 505 Games to bring the farming sim to retail. An earlier report on iDigital Times revealed that the Nintendo Switch version will bring Portable Farming. Switch will allow users to play the game on-the-go even when part of the game has been completed on TV. Fans expect the game to get a fresh lease of life when released on Switch.
