A new teaser of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” teases a fight scene between the villain Kylo Ren and former Stormtrooper Finn. The video was released on Instagram.

The video posted on the Instagram page of the franchise begins with a previously released footage of the First Order troops assembled. Rey (Daisy Ridley) can be seen with the BB-8 droid in the next scene.

The new scene in the video shows Finn (John Boyega) wielding a blue lightsaber and getting ready for a fight. The video is in landscape format, which marks a departure from what was previously possible on the social media platform.

Instagram has announced in a press release that the users will now be able to share pictures and videos in both portrait and landscape formats. The social media platform previously only allowed square posts.

“Square format has been and always will be part of who we are. That said, the visual story you’re trying to tell should always come first, and we want to make it simple and fun for you to share moments just the way you want to,” a statement from the press release reads.

The announcement was made at a time when the teaser of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” was released in the landscape format. The trailer hints at a possible duel between Finn and Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) as they both appear to be preparing to fight in the same snowy location. A previous report had leaked a scene description of this encounter. [Spoiler Alert!]

A previous report by Making Star Wars states that towards the end of the movie, Kylo will run into a forest in a snowy planet the night after killing Han Solo (Harrison Ford). Rey and Finn follow the villain into the forest and there is said to be a duel between Finn and Kylo.

Finn will apparently be able to take on the villain in the duel, but in the end, Kylo’s experience with the lightsaber will lead to his victory while Finn gets severely wounded. Rey continues the battle using the lightsaber Finn tosses to her, but the shaky ground around the cliff falls and the heroes try to hang on at the edge of the cliff.

Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) comes around later on the Millennium Falcon to save the heroes. Meanwhile, Kylo Ren has escaped and the villains retreat to plan their next course of action. The victory towards the end of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” is described as “bittersweet” because of the death of Han Solo.
