[Spoiler alert]

In a new video posted on YouTube, Mike looks at the evolution of Kylo Ren (Adam Driver). The theory points out that the complexity of the villainous character is revealed when he is seen talking to the burned helmet of his grandfather Darth Vader.

On board a Star Destroyer in “The Force Awakens,” Kylo Ren was seen telling the mask of Darth Vader that he feels the pull to the Light side of the Force. The pull is powerful enough that even Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) to senses it. Driver’s character asks his grandfather to show him the power of the Dark Side again, so that he can complete what the Sith Lord could not.

Mike believes that in “Star Wars: Episode 8” fans will see the evolution of Kylo Ren when he is no longer able to resist the pull to the Light side. There is great conflict within him, and Mike explains that there a ton of emotions raging through him when he killed his father Han Solo (Harrison Ford). According to the theory, the character may have experienced a brief moment of guilt after the murder.

Although Kylo Ren is unsure of himself and has a lot of doubts about his actions, he doesn’t want to show is inner turmoil, according to Mike.

Mike wants to see this inner turmoil of Kylo Ren to be taken to a whole new level in “Star Wars: Episode 8.” According to his theory, the character will turn to either the Dark Side or the Light side completely in the upcoming film.
