Production of "Star Wars: Episode 7" is not the only buzz that's taking the "Star Wars" fan community by storm. After the debut trailer at E3 2014, EA's upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" is also looking to be one of the more anticipated video games in the future.

Evidence of possible release date being held back is attributed to the fact that DICE Stockholm has been hauled off to help work on some of bugs and issues with "Battlefield 4," according to SWTOR Strategies. Not much has been said by DICE regarding this particular issue and how it will affect the development of "Star Wars: Battlefront 3." But it does make fans think of the timelines and whether the planned 2015 release date will really push through.

There's still a bit of good news here even with the possible release date delay for "Star Wars: Battlefront 3."

In a report from iDigital Times, it seems DICE Stockholm is back in the drawing boards for "Star Wars: Battlefront 3," as the other "Battlefield 4" DLCs will now fall under the responsibility of DICE L.A.

"DICE Stockholm is doing Naval Strike, everything else will be done by DICE LA," said a representative over at Reddit, as quoted by iDigital Times.

To credit EA, the good move here would be that they do not seem bent on releasing "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" as fast as possible. If anything, the planning, which has been going on since last year, is taken into account to ensure "Star Wars" fans get their due game.

"The most important thing for me is that we take the Star Wars license and come up with games where peoples' jaws drop," EA's Patrick Soderlund has previously told Polygon.

What Developers Can Say About 'Star Wars: Battlefront 3" so Far

That's not to say progress with the game is completely in the dark. GameRanx has spotted a statement from DICE's Karl Magnus Troedsson, where he feels very positive about the direction and the work that has been put in "Star Wars: Battlefront 3."

According to the source, it seems that, instead of going with the usual flow of the "Battlefront" games that preceded this new project, the developers have promised they are making the game in such a way that it is not merely a reflection of previous "Star Wars" games or even "Battlefield" titles.

It seems the presence of the Expanded Universe, though confirmed to not be included in the production of "Star Wars Episode 7," may actually be a possible point of exploration for "Star Wars: Battlefront 3."
