A Slovak film maker has claimed to have created the world's first advertisement that promotes the joy of sex, but minus the usual pumping and heavy sighing innuendos. Instead, a pencil and sharpener were used to strike out the message.

Matus The First, a 26-year-old film maker, said he created the one-minute long promotional video for no other reason but just to purely promote sex. He released the video through the Metropolitan Film Institute's YouTube channel.

He said the video meant to impart the message that like other things, once sex becomes routinary, it is necessary to change something. He noted one cannot always buy a solution that can change something or crack an answer to a problem. "I felt though that in some cases it might be important for people to change something in their minds... this commercial is not only about sex but also about thinking."

"This is not a product commercial, because you can't buy a solution to some things."

Matus The First said he produced the video between August and October 2014 with a small team of film makers. He wrote and directed the commercial. A German colleague by the name of Konstantin Minnich was cinematographer, he added.

Watchers anticipating vulgar scenes will unfortunately be dissatisfied with the video, as it only shows a pencil and sharpener in various positions. It has an English commentary.

Matus The First said British musician Sean Black provided the English voice in the commercial, who lives in Berlin and makes electronic music.

The commercial was produced for sole purposes of being shared on the internet. It will not be seen on TV.

Portal adweek.com has put on the pun. "We won't spoil the fun, but let's just say you might look at your desk a little differently after watching this." Since its release on Oct 2, the video has been viewed 178,605 times. About 350 people liked its concept.
