Which celebrity would like to take a break from a super successful career in music and volunteer to work in a charity shop in his home town? British singer Ed Sheeran, new reports say.

The “Thinking Out Loud” singer is planning to go on a long break, starting next month, from music to help out at the Sue Ryder shop in his home town of Framlingham, Suffolk, The Mirror UK is reporting, citing unnamed sources.

“There’s a good possibility he will volunteer here. We’d welcome him,” Jacqui Bell, manager of Sue Ryder, told the website. Most volunteers working at the shop are aged between 61 and 91 and are known to Sheeran, as he was brought up in the town. They are looking forward to meet hum and work with him.

“He purchased the old police station to open up a youth club for £1million, so he’ll also be helping there when its up and running. I think he will draw the youngsters into our shop which would be good for us,” he added.

The 24-year-old singer is also planning to open a new youth centre in his home town as he credits his old youth club for helping him become a singer. The singer was also in news earlier this year when he donated the clothes he wore at the Grammy Awards to his local charity shop.

The red-haired singer gave away eight clothing items to St Elizabeth Hospice charity shop in Framlingham. In 2014 too the star donated eight bags of clothes to the shop, raising money, which is used to provide hospice care for people in his town.

"We're so lucky to have Ed's support, and we're sure that these latest donations will be quickly snapped up by eager fans,” shop manager Rachail Pollard told the website.

"If you'd like the chance to get hold of a unique piece of Ed Sheeran memorabilia, I suggest you pay us a visit as soon as you can," he added.
