Shia Labeouf bashed by shirtless Canadian

"Transformers" star Shia Labeouf was involved in a fracas outside a bar in Vancouver after being kicked out of the establishment because of the disagreement. Celebrity gossip site TMZ released footage of the "Wall Street 2" actor on his back as his unknown assailant rained blows down on him.

Labeouf is in Vancouver shooting "The Company You Keep," a film scheduled for release in 2012 and directed by Robert Redford, and had been regularly seen at the bar. The actor and the other man were thrown out after a disagreement had taken place inside, and once outside the argument continued. The other man took his shirt off and beat Labeouf to the ground, throwing punches at his head. The man then fled the scene, pursued by the actor, who was eventually restrained by his friends.

This is the former Disney star's second reported scuffle of the year after he was punched in the face at a tavern in California in February. He has also been found guilty of driving under the influence when he hit another vehicle and rolled his truck. These incidents have led to suggestions that the star needs to tone down his drinking and seek help for his fiery temper.

Labeouf has yet to comment on the matter.
