'Revenge' Season 04 Episode 15 Recap: Emily Turns Down Jack While Margaux Learns Her Lesson

ABC’s drama series “Revenge” returns after a month-long hiatus with an episode entitled “Bait.” Episode 15 picks up immediately where the previous episode aired. Jack Porter is agitated by EMily's new relationship with Ben Hunter and decides to finally make his move to get her back. Meanwhile, Victoria Grayson found out about a death in the family while Margaux LeMarchal is hell bent on avenging Daniel Grayson against Emily Thorne.
After all the drama involving Malcolm Black and Kate, Jack has decided to quit the frce. Now that they are safe and Emily can start to live a normal life, Jack finally feels that it is time for them to rekindle their relationship. Unfortunately, he was sidetracked before he could confess.
Nolan has found out that Margaux found a video showing Jack and Emily talking about how he murdered Kate. They cook up a plan to nip Margaux’s plans in the bud. Jack is naturally informed of the situation and helps out as well. With Nolan, Emily, Jack and Louise all working together, Margaux didn’t know what hit her. The evidence was erased from her computer and she was left with nothing to use against Emily.
After their mission was accomplished against Margaux, Jack finally confronted Emily and told her about his feelings. “It’s always been you from the moment Sammy ran up to you that day.” Emily says things between them are messy. Unfortunately for Jack, she says that she cares about him but she can’t be in a relationship with him and turns him down.
Elsewhere in The Hamptons, speculations during the break pointed towards Charlotte as the Grayson family member who unexpectedly passed on. Victoria is pleased to learn that it was her father-in-law Edward Grayson who has died.. Despite their close relationship, Victoria is more concerned about her financial status than family ties. With both Conrad and Daniel gone, she knew that she would be receiving a fair share of the inheritance if not all of it.
To Victoria’s surprise, disappointment and frustration, she finds out that the will leaves her only with the old man’s two dogs. She also finds out that he had left all the money to a new wife. Victoria soon learns that Hamptons newcomer is actually Edward’s new wife who wed him only four months before his death. She is unconvinced of her character and sincerity and tries to hire a lawyer to contest the will. With depleted resources, she finds an unexpected ally in Lyman Ellis, a lawyer who has also recently been deprived of an inheritance thanks to his sister Louise who managed to regain control of the money that their father left solely to her. Victoria digs up dirt on Natalie and begins to plan her strategy to get back the money.
Meanwhile, newlywed Louise plans a honeymoon with Nolan Ross but is disappointed when he chooses to stay home. He says that he needs to help Emily so Louise tells him that she can file for divorce so that Nolan can be free from their bond. She tells him that marrying her was a big enough favour considering it was what helped her gain back her trust fund. Nolan feels guilty and confesses the nature of his relationship with Emily including the covert missions that they do in order to bring down some less-than honourable people. This confession is what promts Louise to help out in the Margaux take down.
Margaux may have lost a battle but she refuses to back down. She digs up some dirt on Ben and his ex-wife. Now that she knows that Jack and Louise are also on Emily and Nolan’s side, she’s trying to find someone else to tap. Emily’s new romantic interest appears to be a vulnerable target. Margaux’s next step will be revealed when “Revenge” returns next Sunday on ABC.
