Capcom’s “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” DLC, “Banned Footage Vol 2” is now available on PS4. This second DLC will be made available on other platforms starting Feb. 21. The DLC features certain new game missions and more banned footage. The PS4 version has provided players the new game missions, “Daughters scenario” and “21 scenario.” The previous one is a prequel of sorts where players get to know how the Baker family turned. The other scenario is a deadly game from Lucas Baker where players will have to gamble life and limb.

According to Slash Gear, these two “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” DLC missions are joined by an extra game mode, known as “Jack’s 55th Birthday.” The mode does not have anything to do with the main game or the tapes. Players will simply need to feed Jack lots of food while the time ticks. This mode does not support PlayStation VR. The “Banned Footage Vol 2” costs US414.99 (AU$20 approx). Meanwhile, players have said that the Bedroom DLC feels a bit different from the rest of the game.

The “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” Bedroom DLC is extra creepy, especially Marguerite, and players have new options for inventory management. Game director Koshi Nakanishi has explained the reason for this. He stated that the technology and creation process went beyond what the team could add in the main game.

“Since the main game was done and dusted, we could put that experience to use in creating ‘Bedroom’ ... The same goes for VR - having Marguerite’s face and eyes track the player’s head movements really makes her feel so alive,” Nakanishi said that was reported by Games Radar.

The “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” Bedroom DLC team “made pre-visualisation videos of themselves as the characters.” Marguerite feels vivid and real in the DLC. Those interested in the game’s figures, Capcom has revealed the reason why “Biohazard’s” initial shipments were lower than other games in the franchise. During a Capcom earnings Q&A session, the company revealed that Capcom can easily meet the four million fiscal year target by the end of March. The game could ship only 2.5 million copies in its launch week.

This was significantly lower than “Resident Evil 5” and “Resident Evil 6” numbers. As of Feb. 10, “Resident Evil 7: Biohazard” has shipped three million units and needs to ship a further one million to achieve its target by end of March.

“We believe that achieving our fiscal year target of 4 million units for this title is wholly possible, as we expect sales to continue for a longer period, buoyed on highly positive post-launch reviews from both the media and consumers,” Capcom said in the statement.
