Sylvester Stallone has shared two behind-the-scenes pictures online of his upcoming film “Rambo 5.” The pictures tease a totally new look for the character, something that the fans have never seen before in the franchise.

The last time the fans saw John Rambo, the character reached US and went straight to his late father’s ranch. In the upcoming film he will be seen as a rancher. The two pictures posted online tease the new costumes of the character [see below].

John Rambo, the former US marine who fought in Vietnam, Afghanistan, and many other places, will be seen spending his life as an idyllic rancher. The pictures that Stallone shared online show him as a complete cowboy, complete with a checked shirt and a hat.

The first picture shows the new character portrait of John Rambo. The character has changed from a soldier to a cowboy. It remains to be seen how the character will be handling the transition, and if will get the itch to kill again.

The second picture shows John on a horse in some hilly woods. This picture should remind the fans of the very first film of the franchise, in which John goes into hiding in a hill after some local cops give him a hard time.

John will not be spending too much time on the ranch, and he will get into action soon. The plot of the film revolves around the former soldier going after a drug cartel after the latter kidnap a few local girls. He will be teaming up with a journalist, who has a personal reason for pursuing this particular story.

“Rambo 5” is set to be released in 2019. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date. Stallone is the only confirmed cast member of the movie as of this writing. Now that the work for the film has begun, more casting announcements can be expected in the coming weeks.
