A noted fan of PBS period drama series “Downtown Abbey,” pregnant Kate Middleton is scheduled to visit Ealing Studious to meet the cast and crew members of the award winning production. The Duchess is set to get a personal tour of the show set from Lord Fellows, creator and writer of the show and executive producer Liz Trubridge on Thursday, March 12.

The Duchess of Cambridge will meet and greet the show’s lead stars including Robert James-Collier, Lesley Nicol, Sophia McShera, Dame Maggie Smith, Hugh Bonnefield, Elizabeth McGovern and Phyllis Logan. “To celebrate the success of the show,” Prince George’s mum will also attended a brief reception where she will meet the production, editorial and Ealing Studios staff.

Based on Telegraph, Ealing Studios is where most of the indoor scenes were filmed. Other scenes are shoot at Highclere Castle near Newbury, Berkshire. The royal tour is reportedly going to last for 90 minutes as the Duchess is set to tour the “oldest continuously working studio for film production in the world.” The studio is also the venue for comedies, including “The Ladykillers” and “Kind Hearts And Coronets.”

Kate Middleton who is due to give birth to her second child on April is scheduled to “watch one take of a scene being filmed in the servants' quarters for series 6 and a second take of the scene via a monitor in the 'Video Village' area, before proceeding to the Servants Hall to join cast members, writers and producers in an official photograph,” according to the palace statement.

One of the most popular British shows, “Downtown Abbey” is currently airing its fifth season in the U.S. and has received critical acclaim from television critics. The show has won countless accolades, including Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie and Golden Globe Award for Best Miniseries or Television Film.

Meanwhile, the Duke of Cambridge, Prince William was reportedly supporting cruelty to elephants during his visit in the Wild Elephant Valley. Now that the Prince visited the park, tourists are going to flock to the area as he indirectly supports the cruelty to the animals when he took part in the park’s performances, according to Louise Rogerson, from the Elephant Asia Rescue and Survival Foundation.
