Australian authorities have been blocking the importation of child-like sex dolls used by paedophiles, but syndicates are finding other ways to feed the sexual desires of people using cyberspace. Federal police are investigating a foreign website that has naked images of female Australian students.

ABC reports that most of the photos are non-consenting or underage girls from 70 public and private schools in Australia that are the target of the group running the porn website. Australian Federal Police Detective Acting Superintendent Marcus Boorman says police from New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory are probing the matter.

But Cheryl Scanlon, detective superintendent of the Queensland Police Service, says that while investigators believe the site is hosted abroad, but apparently, it does not contain any child exploitation material. Taskforce Argos, a child-protection squad, was asked to study the website, however, its legal experts say that although the trading of porn photos of young female Australians is sickening and immoral, it is not illegal, reports Courier Mail.

Those who use the website post requests for other members to share naked images of Aussie girls from a specific school or a particular student in exchange for trading other porn photos. It appears the nude images came from the young women, but the photo ended in the hands of the website operators.

A 20-year-old Brisbane woman says the image on the website was a nude selfie she sent when she was in Grade 12 to a former boyfriend, but the guy is denying it was he who posted the photo. But there is no way of finding out if he is lying or not since the posters are anonymous.

Tiahna Prosser, a teen in Redcliffe, says she discovered that users of the porn site were given bonus points as incentive to post her sexy pictures which were taken when she was preparing for a competition. “It was like I had been sold. It’s just horrible especially when they want it of you specifically – that’s when it’s really disturbing,” Prosser says.

The website, a chat forum, has over 2,000 images. But since the legality of the photos depend on the age of the girls and if the images were taken and sent with their consent, it would be very difficult for Australian police to do anything about the portal, says Kerry Carringon, head of Queensland University of Technology’s School of Justice.

Phishing, hacking and other tools makes stealing of naked or sexy photos easy for syndicates that many victims are shocked to eventually discover their images on porn websites.
