Paula Abdul is going to shake things up on Ramsay St. The “So You Think You Can Dance” judge also thinks she can act as she joins the cast of “Neighbours” for a one-episode guest spot, which will air in June.

The 51-year-old former “American Idol” judge will be playing as herself in the “light-hearted” episode that will see her staying at Lassiter’s hotel, where she will meet Dr Karl Kennedy (Alan Fletcher), who has a long-time crush on her.

A spokeswoman from the Ten network also hinted that Karl will be tempted to stray upon seeing Abdul despite his approaching 20th marriage anniversary with Susan (Jackie Woodburne).

“I remember watching Neighbours when I was in England in the 1980s. I thought it was a lot of fun and for it to still be popular after nearly 30 years is an amazing achievement,” said Abdul.

“Everyone was so nice and I will admit, Dr Karl was very charming. I had a really lovely time.”

She filmed her guest spot on Monday.

Abdul is currently a judge on Ten network’s “So You Think You Can Dance Australia,” which airs Thursdays. Her “Neighbours” episode is scheduled to air in June.

Meanwhile, a familiar face is also set to show up on Ramsay St. Kym Valentine, who famously played Karl and Susan’s daughter Libby Kennedy, will be back for her TV parents’ 20th anniversary. Felix Mallard, who played Libby’s son Ben, will also be in the reunion special.
