Filming of the TV series seems to have been affected due to the unpredictable weather conditions in Scotland. Writer and producer Matthew B. Roberts shared that he had an off day from filming and so he decided to share a picture from the set for the fans of the TV series, who are eagerly waiting for news about the show.

Co-executive producer Maril Davis joked that she is wearing “four pairs of pants and five layers on top.” “My idea of cold weather resistance training,” she said.

While Jamie and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) will be seen in France in the first half of “Outlander” Season 2, the characters are expected to return to Scotland some time later. Claire will also finally get to return to the 1940s and be reunited with her first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies).

The main plot of the next season revolves around Jamie and Claire trying to stop the Battle of Culloden. They will try to influence the key members of the Jacobite Rebellion in order to stop them from taking action.

“Outlander” Season 2 is set to premiere on April 9. The story in the season is based on the book “Dragonfly in Amber,” written by Diana Gabaldon. The author has also written one of the episodes of the next season.
