Entertainment Weekly (EW) has placed Horowitz and Kitsis in the “hot seat” to answer the fans’ questions from Twitter about the second-half episodes of “Once Upon a Time” Season 5. At the moment, the OUAT fans want to find out if the Storybrooke heroes’ mission of bringing back Captain Hook from the Underworld will succeed.

“Who said they can bring back Hook?” Horowitz responded to the query if the Storybrooke heroes can indeed bring back Captain Hook as well as someone else from the Underworld.

Horowitz and Kitsis further added that Captain Hook may "die harder" and rot in the Underworld because he is already dead. Another burning question involved Emma Swan’s plan of sharing her heart with Captain Hook in order to bring him back.

However, Horowitz told EW that things will not go easy if Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) tries to fulfill her plan. Kitsis further added that the second-half episodes of “Once Upon a Time” Season 5 will perhaps give the viewers an insight into the concerns of sharing a heart.

Horowitz and Kitsis also assured that the second part of “Once Upon a Time” Season 5 will not entirely take place in the Underworld. However, the OUAT series bosses teased that the characters who are already in the Underworld are still in danger.

“They can die. They can kill,” Kitsis clarified.

As for the Rumbelle storyline, Horowitz revealed that the upcoming episodes will try to explore on why Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold (Robert Carlyle) lied to Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and wanted to be the Dark One again. When asked if Aussie actress Emilie de Ravin’s pregnancy will be written in the second part of the show, Kitsis responded that the OUAT fans will have to wait and see.

Former “Ally McBeal” star Greg Germann will make his debut appearance as the Underworld master Hades in the mid-season premiere of “Once Upon a Time” Season 5. Kitsis teased that Hades has a surprising connection to one of the OUAT characters.

“We’re trying to create our own Once Upon a Time spin. We can’t wait for everyone to see what [Germann] does with the character,” Horowitz told EW.

OUAT Season 5 is scheduled to return with the 100th episode on March 6, 2016. “Once Upon a Time” Season 5, with episode 12 entitled “Souls of the Departed” will air at 8/7c on ABC.
