Top designers will display their Spring/Summer 2014 designs down the catwalk for the spectacle known as New York Fashion Week 2013 (NYFW) beginning September 5 and goes till the 12th.

NYFW will showcase the Luxury, magnificence, glamour, and all the big celebrities to the city.

Everyone wants to see what new styles and ideas these brilliant designers have come up with. Celebrities, Fashion lovers,editors and bloggers will get an up-close look at what women will be fluanting next summer. This is where you discover new trends and where stylists start requesting pulls for their clients. Many of you may think Fashion week is just glamour and luxury when really it's much deeper than that. With drop-dead dedication a designer burns midnight oil to put his ideas into the craft and design to create an innovative and practical ensemble.

NYFW started in 1943 during World War II to attract attention from French Fashion due to the fact that industry leaders in the fashion world could not travel to Paris during the World War.

Before designers showcase their new ensembles on the ramp, they gulp down films, study books, travel, and ponder until inspiration hits their brain and the sketching begins. Christian Siriano

An American fashion designer and member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) who rose to stardom after winning and becoming the series' youngest winner the fourth season of American design competition show Project Runway. In 2008 He launched his signature collection "Christian Siriano" in 2008, which was a big success.

According to bostonglobe.com's Christopher Muther Christian Siriano revealed his inspiration for the Fashion Week Collection. His collection is primarily inspired by a recent trip to Mexico's Isla Mujeres: the 'Island of Women. He took influence from the shapes and imagery of grass-lined huts, scenic colour-blocked suburban streets, masonry, and the locally abundant dahlia flowers.

Rachel Zoe

Rachel Zoe is an American well-known stylist and fashion designer. She is known for her widespread sway in the fashion world. Her Bravo reality television series The Rachel Zoe Project started in 2008.

She revealed her inspiration for NYFW as "Modern safari mixed with ethereal elements."

Tracy Reese

Tracy Reese is an American fashion designer and a board member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America who specializes in women's prêt collection, accessories, and home furnishings.

She revealed her inspiration NYFW "Building on Afro-Cuban cultural influences, key looks such as a bold lapis and scarlet floral flyaway frock with back ruffle detail, a striped scarlet and black flyaway tee, structured crisp white trousers and fisherman-inspired sandals express the effortless style of the modern woman who is sexy, assured, and contemporary."

Herve Leger

Herve Leger is a French fashion house started by the designer Hervé Peugnet, at present known as Hervé L. Leroux. Lubov Azria, chief creative officer of Herve Leger revealed the inspiration for NYFW as:

"Different cultural and geological references inspire the collection as seen in ancient tribes and tradition."

    Rebecca Minkoff with her playful and subtly edgy designs is one of the industry leaders in luxury handbags, accessories, footwear, and apparel, around the world. She shared her inspiration as:

    "We looked at Bianca Jagger's life prior to her Studio 54 days, and we were drawn to her Latin American upbringing. Other influential Latin American women across all decades started coming to mind with Frida Kahlo at one end of the spectrum and contemporaries such as Caroline Issa and Alice Dellal at the other."

    Along with Fashion brands and media outlets social networks will be among the entities competing for information. Pinterest has created a designated hub for content about Fashion Week. The hub, pinterest.com/fashionweek, will provide an ever-updating feed of images and videos from several high-profile partners across fashion and media. Pinterest will continue its fashion hub with new partners for fashion-week shows in London, Milan, and Paris next month.
