“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Mark informs Ned, Elly, Brad and Lauren that Jacka’s been released from prison on bail. Mark then advises Ned to be vigilant, making Brad and Lauren wonder. Backed up in a corner, Ned confesses that the ex-girlfriend he mentioned before was Regan, Jacka’s wife. Brad is incredulous about his son’s choice of woman. Digital Spy reports that Ned cautions Elly to keep her distance, given the danger he’s facing. Regan, who also fears Jacka’s retribution, begs Ned to save her and suggests they start a new life together.

Digital Spy spoilers also suggest that after being caught by Amy snooping around, David asks Amy to call Karl instead of security. Karl then finds out that David is searching medical records to uncover a mysterious piece of his past. The upcoming episode also revisits Sonya’s surrogacy offering, which Toadie still can’t decide on.

“Neighbours” recap

On Wednesday, Xanthe showed Ben and Susan around the Gold Coast. Once alone with Ben, Xanthe told him being there makes her miss her mum even more. Unknown to her, Brooke was watching her from a distance, gathering up the courage to go to her. Later, Susan and Ben went home to Erinsborough with Angus. Xanthe also returned to a hostile environment, with Sheila and Gary still fuming about her latest stunt. The young girl promised to do chores around the house as her punishment.

Meanwhile, Ned informed Steph that Jacka knows everything, leaving her utterly panicked. It meant she’s in danger too, for lying. She urged Ned to skip town for everyone’s safety, but he wanted to stay for his dad’s wedding. Desperate, Steph decided to turn to Elly and requested her to convince Ned to leave. Later, Elly confided in on Mark about everything, hoping to seek his opinion. Mark told her that it’s better to take precautions, considering Jacka’s history. Mark then went over to Steph to reprimand her about the Ned-Jacka situation. He then dropped a shocking bombshell: Jacka was released from prison.

At Harold’s, Aaron and Amy spotted the Tanaka brothers walking in. Aaron went over their table, greeted Leo and introduced himself to David. Aaron then made small talk about Blaze, addressing Leo. However, Leo seemed to brush him off and advised him to turn to David instead. Aaron then went back to Amy and encouraged her to go for David. Later, David dropped by at the center to give something to Aaron, who wasn’t there at the moment. Amy talked to him and the two flirted a bit, much to the delight of Piper and Tyler.

When Aaron got wind of this chemistry between Amy and the doctor, he urged her to arrange with him and Leo. Amy was feeling giddy about the possibility of a new romance that she even splurged on new outfits to refresh her look. She then went to the hospital to see David, but she’s surprised when he sneaked into Karl’s office and fiddled with his computer.
