“Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Piper tells Tyler that her parents forgot about her birthday. Feeling bad for her, Tyler takes her out to do “something fun.” Another teaser shows them spending time together alone. As Piper jokingly tries to grab Tyler’s hair tie, they end up physically close as if they’re about to kiss. Tyler tells her that she’s now 17 and Piper replies, “Sounds a lot better than 16, doesn’t it?”

In another preview video, the Cannings are seen being interviewed about their jobs. It seems Xanthe has exaggerated a lot about their careers, and she becomes embarrassed as Gary, Sheila and Amy show their true selves in front of the show’s executive. Digital Spy reports that the young girl has signed up for Family Feud and reckons she has to manipulate some truths in order to be casted.

Digital Spy spoilers also suggest that Paul, unhappy to see Leo flirting with Amy, threatens the new guy with the information he gathered. However, it seems Leo is unfazed, bothering Paul.

“Neighbours” recap

On Wednesday, Aaron found a way to get closer with his crush, Leo. After hearing that the newbie is in between jobs, Aaron offered to help him score one at Lassiters. Aaron agreed to introduce Leo to Terese, in exchange for a night-out with David and Amy. At the bar, the four toasted to Leo’s new job. Aaron relentlessly flirted with Leo, but was devastated when he noticed that he’s straight and he’s interested on Amy. Soon enough, Amy found herself alone with Leo. She rectified the situation by calling for reinforcement – Elly – who took her place while she headed home. Elly told Leo that he’s got zero chances of hooking up with Amy, which made him even more interested.

Meanwhile, Paul informed Steph that while he took his eye off the ball for a moment, it’s time to resume his mission to destroy Terese and steal back Lassiters. Steph was curious about Paul’s sudden shift of attitude, but he refused to give his reasons. Later, Terese interviewed Leo at The Waterhole. After getting pressure from her investors to spruce up the place, she hired him as consultant. This irked Sheila, who reckoned her position as manager is being threatened by the new guy. She couldn’t help but rant to Paul, who wasted no time getting dirt on Leo. He found out that the newbie was embroiled in a money laundering case when he was manager at a nightclub.

Elsewhere, Angus was ecstatic after getting permission to stay in Erinsborough but his happiness got cut short when Susan told him he had to go to school there. Susan asked Elly to help get through to Angus, and she promised to try. Realising that going to school would bring him closer with Elly, Angus agreed to resume his studies there.
