When Paige Smith (Olympia Valance) discovers Simone’s latest stunt, she confirms her theory that Jack’s ex deliberately gets into trouble to get his attention. Spoilers hint that things are about to get worse for the two women in Jack’s life. “Neighbours” posted a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode on its Facebook page. In the clip, Tyler admits to Jack that he’s the one who took Tim Collins’ BMW and crashed it. “But Simone suggested that she take the blame,” Tyler said. “I shouldn’t have let her but I did and before I knew it Mark had bought the story and there was no going back.” Tyler also reveals that Simone asked for some money so he paid her. Jack and Ben urge Tyler to tell Mark the truth.

Digital Spy reports that Paige discovers that Simone volunteered to own up to the car crash. Paige immediately informs Jack about it, hoping to distance him from Simone’s manipulations.

Another teaser shows Susan wondering whether Angus has reconsidered his decision to quit school. Angus says he’s still dropping out of Erinsborough High, but shares that he found a college that specialises in music. He wants to enroll there and his mum agrees to pay for it as long as he can stay with the Kennedys. Susan says he’ll check the school’s credentials but agrees to let Angus live with them. As Angus shows Ben the site of the school he’s referring to, Susan tells Elly that it’s nice for Angus to show initiative. “Whatever you said got through,” Susan says. “Well done.”

Digital Spy spoilers suggest that when Elly finds out about Angus’ plans to leave school, she sits down for a serious discussion with him in an attempt to change his mind. According to spoilers, Angus’ reported exit doesn’t sit well with Xanthe, and Ben makes her understand that it stems from her fears that her mum is leaving her again.

“Neighbours” recap

On Wednesday, Paige spotted Simone at the street and confronted her for running away, letting Jack worry. Later, Simone went over to church and Jack told her that the cops are looking for her about a stolen car. She then went to the garage to talk to Tyler, who said that he’ll turn himself in to the police. Simone offered to take the blame for the car crash, and she went to confess to Mark.

Jack bailed her out and became determined to watch over Simone. However, she refused to be supervised by Jack. Later, Simone asked money from Tyler, who was more than willing to give it to her. Later, Paige told Jack that Simone’s acting out and displaying bad behaviour so she could get Jack’s attention. However, Jack refused to believe that Simone’s just playing games. Elsewhere, Simone was shacking up at the toolshed and was looking intently at an old photo of her and Jack.

Meanwhile, Elly shared with Leo about her kiss with Angus. Leo told her to be firm with the school boy, but saw that Elly won’t make a move. Leo did it for her, telling Angus to back off and give Elly space. When Elly found out about it, she confronted Leo and said she could take care of herself. However, Leo cornered Angus and repeated his warning to leave Elly alone. Angus then went home and told Susan that he’s leaving school.
