Channel Eleven posted a sneak peek for Friday’s episode. In the preview video, Aaron is seen asking for more time from Tom to come up with $10,000. Aaron then confronts Xanthe, who denies that she was anywhere near the Lassiters when the explosion happened. Digital Spy reports that Aaron would still want to protect Xanthe, but implores her to confess everything first.

The trailer also shows Terese walking in on Paul and Toadie whilst in a serious discussion. She wonders, “What’s going on?” Digital Spy spoilers say that Steph asks Toadie to represent Paul in the case. Whilst he would hesitate at first, Toadie agrees to be Paul’s lawyer in one condition: Paul should say he’s guilty of the explosion.

“Neighbours” recap

In the previous episode, Walter revealed to Sonya that she had a short-lived affair with Sonya’s mother. That night when the crash happened, Walter was arguing with his brother because he wants to tell Sonya the truth. Sonya decided that it’s too much to handle right now, and asked for time to digest everything. Walter decided to turn to alcohol to forget about his issues, but became too trunk. Fortunately, Karl was there and sent a message to Toadie. Sonya and Toadie rushed to the Waterhole to pick up Walter. She then decided to let Walter stay, wipe the slate clean and become part of her life. Elsewhere, Karl advised Toadie to hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

Elsewhere, Paige was preparing for a night out when John arrived. She was upset when he rejected his invitation to be her date earlier. John apologised for giving her mixed signals. He said something to make Paige thinks he likes her, and moved in to give him a kiss, but John pulled back. He explained that there’s a nagging feeling that tells him not to pursue anything romantic with her. Frustrated about playing cat and mouse with John, she lashed at him for leading her on one second, then knocking her back the next. She kicked him off her house.

Meanwhile, Aaron sat down for lunch with Nate and Susan. Nate received a phone call and he excused himself to take it. He shared with Susan that it’s someone who confirmed that his application to the army was accepted. Nate also told Susan that Aaron doesn’t know about it yet. When Nate asked Aaron to go with him, Aaron said he was still hurt when Nate abandoned him the last time. Aaron declined Nate’s invitation, and the two broke up. Later, Nate rode a cab and left Ramsay Street. Later, at home with Tyler, Aaron received a call from Tom, who said that it was Xanthe who stole his money.
