Now that all Miss Universe hype is over, it's time for Miss Grand International to take center stage for the pageant's first edition in Bangkok, Thailand. The preliminary round is scheduled to kicked off on November 17 and the coronation night is on November 19 to be held at the Beauty Thunder Dome.

The pageant will host 74 candidates representing various countries from all corners of the world all vying the Miss Grand International crown and to be hailed as the first queen of the pageant. The contest aims to eradicate violence and hostility and for people to start living in a community where religion and color is not an issue.

The 74 contestants started to arrive in November 3 where they participated in the pageant's pre-event activities including a cultural tour around Bangkok and Thailand's old capital Chiang Mai. The star studded event will feature Thailand's famous celebrities and sensational tropical locations.
