The Filipino boxing superstar, Manny Pacquiao encouraged the undefeated American boxer, Floyd Mayweather to make history in boxing. Using his official Twitter account, Manny Pacquiao expressed his willingness once again to fight with the pound for pound king.

The ball will drop at midnight to usher in 2015. @FloydMayweather let's not drop the ball on fighting each other next year! #LetsMakeFistory

Manny Pacquiao's eagerness to fight Floyd Mayweather has been an open book to everyone. In fact, apart from Pacquiao's latest tweet, the eight-time division champion also challenged Floyd Mayweather not to be a "boxing humbag," earlier last month.

In December, after repeatedly sniping at the Filipino boxer, calling the 36-year-old broke and desperate, Floyd Mayweather challenged Manny Pacquiao and blamed his promoter Bob Arum for holding up their much anticipated fight. Pacquiao then responded and dared Mayweather to give the fans the fight they want. In a recent interview with Showtime, Mayweather responded to the Filipino boxing icon and said that he is ready to fight him anytime.

To make the fight possible, Bob Arum collaborated with Les Moonves but despite their shared efforts to make the mega fight to happen, team Pacquiao and team Mayweather are still negotiating for the fight.

Apparently, it's not only the fans who are asking for the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather to happen. In fact, boxing legend Lennox Lewis took to Twitter and listed the fight at the top of his wish-list for boxing for 2015.

"There's a few fights I want to see in 2015 but May-Pac is still at top of my list. Stop the madness and make it happen! #EnuffAlready," the former undisputed king wrote yesterday, adding, "If we could make #Lewis Tyson happen with HBO and Showtime, they can get it together for #MayPac and make history again."

Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum has recently put to an end to the rumours about Pacquaio moving down to 140 to campaign as a light welterweight. Although Freedie Roach believes that Pacquiao will have more power as a140, Arum denied the request to move Pacquiao to another weight division.
