The original queen of pop is leaning towards enrolling her children, Rocco and David, at Marlborough College, the same school attended by both Kate and Pippa Middleton.

Madonna and her ex-husband, director Guy Ritchie, is veering towards the decision of entering their children in one of London's top educational institutions. According to the Daily Mail, Marlborough's alumni include the Middleton sisters and Princess Eugenie.

A source close to the ex-couple weighed in on what he knew about Madonna and Ritchie's plan, saying that a boarding school education is what Ritchie wanted for his kids to have.

"The plan to have Rocco educated in England started as Guy's idea. He wants Rocco and David to go to a boarding school as he did. He feels strongly that the education system is better here than in America," the source told The Daily Mail.

The source added that Madonna and Ritchie pushed for Rocco's application just the other day, hoping that the 11-year-old will get a spot in the school year of 2013.The prestigious academy accepts students 13 and up, and has a tuition fee of $50,000 per year.

Madonna and Guy also agreed to enroll their adopted son from Malawi, David, when he reaches the proper age to the same school.

"Guy wants David to be educated at a boarding school when he reaches 13 too," added the source.

As for Lourdes Leon, Madonna's oldest child is busy working on her clothing line "Material Girl," which her mother helped her start.
