Singer Peter Andre has shared some parenting tips to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge following the birth of their second child, Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. The artist penned a meaningful letter to Kate Middleton and Prince William, where he reminded the royal couple not to forget about Prince George.

Writing for Hello magazine about parenting, Peter Andre shared his personal experiences about raising kids. As a father of three, the singer shared some words of advice to Kate Middleton and Prince William about how they should “never neglect the other children – not even for a minute.” "That's where jealousy or resentment can build, so involve them as much as you can,” he added.

Peter Andre said there are good things that come with the addition of a new baby to the family. Considering the birth of Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, he wrote, “The joy of a new baby is that Prince George will have a friend he can count on forever."

Aside from parenting advice, the twice-crowned “Celebrity Dad of the Year” also gave some tips for Prince William on how he should never forget about Kate Middleton. "It's important we take care of the new mum, who has given us the greatest gift in our children," he wrote.

The singer recalled asking for a six month leave from work so he could spend time with his family, and wondered if perhaps the royal couple could also do the same. However, Peter Andre also acknowledged that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a busy lifestyle. So spending quality time together with the family would be difficult for them as they have certain commitments and duties that they have to attend to.

The singer also reminded Kate Middleton and Prince William not to mind what other people think of them. Considering the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are always put under the spotlight, it’s supposedly easy for people to judge them based on the decisions they make. However, Peter Andre said the most important thing is for Kate and William to be great parents first and told the royal couple to “put your children first.”

Kate Middleton gave birth to Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana on May 2 at the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s Hospital. The royal couple and their children are now in Anmer Hall for some peace and quiet. According to US Weekly, Kate Middleton, Prince William and Prince George stayed at Kensington Palace for a couple of days after the baby’s birth before the family left for their cottage home in Norfolk on Wednesday, May 6.
