When the Duchess hosted a dinner event in lieu of Prince Charles, she was spotted declining glasses of champagne, does it mean that she is preparing her diet and declining alcohol for pregnancy?

When Kate Middleton hosted a dinner event for 'In Kind Direct Charity' at the Clarence House, a correspondent from OK Magazine spotted the Duchess constantly decline glasses of wine when offered by servers and guests. According to witness accounts, the Duchess of Cambridge opted for water the entire evening instead of fine cocktails, champagne and wine.

Is it because the fashionable Duchess is preparing her body for pregnancy? It could also be possible that the Duchess wanted a clear mind on her first royal engagement, but the fact that she has been "snacking" a lot lately gives a hint of a pregnancy in the near future. According to a report, Middleton has been gaining weight recently, going up two dress sizes in a span of a week.

A source and close friend of the royal couple told Now Magazine that Middleton has learned to accept each snack offered to her, and that she's preparing for to bear a royal heir by gaining weight.

"She and Prince William are yearning for a baby. They feel ready; Kate's read dozens of books on the subject and knows she needs to take care of her health", claimed the source in the report.
