"Twilight" actor Robert Pattinson is finally showing himself to the public after hiding out for quite some time because of the scandal that Kristen Stewart cheated on him. The 26-year old Pattinson visited the "The Daily Show" and he was just charming and witty as ever.

Host Jon Stewart handled his interview with the British heartthrob in a business-like manner yet managed to turn it into a comedic flair when he began to mock the "Cosmopolis" actor awkwardly with the question: "What have you been up to?"

"I had a joke prepared!" Pattinson protested, feigning dismay. "God damn it. I was all set up and ready to go," Pattinson added.

"OK, let's just do this," the host continued, busting out two pints of Ben & Jerry's with the Cherry Garcia for him and the Karamel Sutra for his guest Robert Pattinson and a couple of spoons. "Now, we're just a couple of gals talking," Stewart said. "All right, tell me everything," Jon Stewart prompted.

"I'm trying to avoid eating this, I'm going to split my Spanx," the young actor deadpanned. "So what are we doing here? Are you all right? Is everything OK? I'm worried about you," Jon Stewart asked as he continued things along.

"My biggest problem in my life is I'm cheap, and I didn't hire a publicist," Pattinson revealed. "I'm going to hire a publicist," he added. "I think you should," Jon Stewart agreed.

After a discussion on the fans who lined up just to catch a glimpse of Robert Pattinson outside the building, Jon Stewart leaned towards Robert Pattinson confidingly to say something to the actor. "Listen, the last time I had a bad breakup, Ben and Jerry got me through some of the tougher times. So, I thought you and I could bond over this and talk about, 'Boy, you are better off, kick her to the curb. Whatevah!" Jon Stewart exclaimed.

"When you are young and you break up, it's powerful and it feels like the world is ending. This is the first time I have seen the world actually react that way. It's insanity. Here is my wish for you, that you get to handle your business in private, in your personal life, and I wish you all the best," Jon Stewart continued with his voice returning to normal.

"I should've talked about Cosmopolis!" Pattinson said, smiling. Then, the two finally proceeded to talk about his new movie.

After his appearance on "The Daily Show," Robert Pattinson hit up the premiere of his latest film "Cosmopolis" which will be officially released in theaters on Friday.
