Huawei Honor 6, which came out in August 2014, features high-end specs. Rumours have it that Huawei is working on a phablet edition of the handset called the Honor 6X. PhoneArena claims that the speculated specs of the Honor 6X indicates that it is a flagship device in the making. The Honor 6X has reached TENNA certification body in China.The Honor 6 has not reached U.S. yet but it will be available for purchase in the UK by Nov. 10 through Amazon. The Honor 6X phablet may also make its way to UK.

According to GizmoChina, two editions of the Honor 6X has reached TENNA. One handset has model number of PE-TL,10 which aimed for China Mobile and the other one with model number PE-UL10 is for China Unicom. Both the handsets do not have any difference in the specs but the only difference is carrier connectivity.

The USP of Huawei Honor 6X will be the three cameras it houses. The camera present on the rear side of the Honor 6X is an 8MP dual shooter. It is coupled with a dual LED flash. It is not known whether the Honor 6X will offer imaging effects and features that is present on the HTC One M8. It supports full HD 1080p video recording.

The original Huawei Honor 6 came with a 5-inch displays screen. However, the Honor 6X will come housed with a 5.5-inch display screen. The handset measures 150.4 x 75.68 x 7.5 mm. It adorns a premium appeal thanks to the aluminum casing on the sides.

The Huawei Honor 6X is powered by the company's very own Kirin octa-core processor that offers a processing speed of 1.8 GHz. It is complemented by 3 GB of RAM. It will come with an onboard storage of 32 GB. It also features a microSD card slot which supports up to 64 GB of microSD. The handset will be running on Android v4.4. KitKat. As far as connectivity is concerned, the handset supports 2G, 3G and LTE.

PhoneArena claims that the Huawei Honor 6X phablet will be revealed by the end of 2014. As of now, it seems that the Honor 6X sports slightly upgraded specs as compared to what is offered with the Honor 6. In the near future, we will come to know concrete details.
