“How to Get Away With Murder” might be on break now, but there are just too many questions that the show has left behind for its fans. When it was revealed that it was Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch) under the sheet, things got even worse after the audience realised that he got killed even before the fire.

Spoiler alert! This article contains “How to Get Away With Murder” spoilers. Read on if you would like to know what happens next before the next episode airs.

When the show returns in 2017, viewers will get the opportunity to see through flashbacks where Wes had been and what he did. While he had already been identified as the man under the sheet, another twist had been revealed; he had already been dead for a while.

The killer will be identified in the episodes to come on ABC. Wes was a key character in the show and had been considered to be the second most important character in the show right after Annalise Keating herself. As of now, fans suspect that his death has something largely to do with Annalise’s past.

Many thought that Annalise and Wes’ relationship was already getting boring since he was always the favourite. However, nobody thought he would die this soon. One speculation after another popped up and suicide was one of them. When showrunner Pete Nowalk was asked regarding such, he reveals that there is a possibility that Wes killed himself.

Other sources speculate that it could be Connor (Jack Falahee) who ended Wes’ life. This is because he hated him with a passion and had already threatened to kill him once. Connor might be all romance with his boyfriend, but it’s an entirely different scenario when it comes to Wes.

As for Laurel, she is still traumatized. She is pregnant and sources say that Wes could be the father of her baby. How things turn out will be revealed very soon.

How to Get Away With Murder” will return on Thursday, January 19 at 10 p.m. on ABC. In Australia, it will air on Channel Seven.
