There is no denying that given the viciousness of the sport, rugby players need to make sure that they are perfectly fit not only to score goals but also to tackle every opponent that comes along the way. Here, we round up some of the hottest rugby players these days.

Chris Robshaw

Robshaw is the 28-year-old captain of the England national rugby team. Robshaw plays the role of flanker. He led England to triumph in four out of five matches last RBS 6 Nations Championship, winning 22 in 36 matches. Robshaw currently plays for tahe Harlequins FC.

Mike Phillips

Phillips, 32, plays the scrum half position for Wales. In 2013, he made history after breaking the previous record set by Dwayne Peel as Wales’ most capped scrum half. He currently plays for French rugby union club Racing Metro 92.

Danny Care

Care, 28, plays as scum half or fly half. He began his professional career in 2004. Care made his test debut against New Zealand in 2008. His current team is the Harlequins FC.

George North

The 22-year-old North can play as a winger and centre. Before he celebrated his 20^th birthday, North scored 10 test tries and was capped 21 times making him the very first teenaged in the world to achieve such feat. He currently plays for the Northampton Saints.

David Pocock

Pocock is a 26-year-old Australian rugby union player. He is the vice-captain of Australian professional Rugby union football team Brumbies, which compete in the Super Rugby.

Dimitri Szarzewski

Szarzewski is a 32-year-old French rugby union footballer. He plays as a hooker and has represented France in international matches. Szarzewski made his test debut against Canada in 2004. He currently plays Racing Metro 92.

Robert Barbieri

Babieri, 30, is a Canadian-born Italian rugby union player. Barbieri plays as a flanker and opted to represent Italy in international matches. He is currently signed with Leicester Tigers.

Ben Foden

Foden is a model and a rugby union player. He plays scrum-half for Northampton Saints. He is married to Una Healy, who is a member of a British-Irish girl group, The Saturdays.
