"Holby City" cast members, including Carli Norris (Fran), Rosie Marcel (Jac), Joe McFadden (Raf), Alex Walkinshaw (Fletch), Kaye Wragg (Essie) and Jaye Jacobs (Donna), will be featured in a new episode titled "Sleep Well," which will air on BBC One in UK on July 11. It will show Donna's old schoolmate being admitted in the hospital. This forces her to face her fears about her marriage. Read on to learn more.

"Holby City" Series 19, episode 40 will show Donna seeing an old schoolmate being admitted during her shift at the hospital. According to the BBC One website, she will realise a lot of things because of this blast from the past. More importantly, this incident will force her to assess her current situation in life, especially her marriage.

Meanwhile, Fletch will encourage Raf to go after Essie when he notices how much he likes her. However, it's still unclear if Essie reciprocates Raf's feelings. As for Fran and Jac, they will work together on a complicated case that involves someone from their childhood. It will put a strain on them, particularly on Fran, who will find it difficult to cope under the pressure.

'Sleep Well' stars

According to the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), Joe McFadden as Raffaello Di Lucca, Lee Mead as Ben "Lofty" Chiltern, Christian Vit as Matteo Rossini and David Ajao as Damon Ford will appear in this episode. They will be joined by Camilla Arfwedson as Zosia March, Bob Barrett as Sacha Levy, Tom Cotcher as Daniel Brown, Ali Bastian as Chevonne Lumionne, Hugh Quarshie as Ric Griffin, David Ames as Dominic Copeland, Carli Norris as Fran Reynolds, Margaret Cabourn-Smith as Gillian Walters and Jasmine Hyde as Yvonne Tyler. "Sleep Well" was directed by Sean Glynn and written by Elliot Hope and Johanne McAndrew.

'Holby City' episodes: 'Keeping the Faith'

The episode before "Sleep Well" was "Keeping the Faith," which airs on July 4. It was written by Jeff Povey and directed by Baff Akoto. It featured Damon trying to fix up Nina and Matteo. Plus, Sacha will encounter a special patient. He will treat Ric’s granddaughter Darla. Elsewhere, Morven will find it difficult to cope with the recent tragic events.
