The long-awaited 73rd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards are here and are set to air this Sunday, Sept. 19, at 8 p.m. EDT.

The biggest night in television will be broadcast live on local CBS stations available by cable or antenna and will feature a lot of shows which viewers grew familiar with during the pandemic.

How can you watch the best of television without a TV? Several on-demand video streaming services will be featuring the ceremony.

Platforms such as Apple TV, Google’s Chromecast, Amazon’s Fire TV Stick or Roku, will all be streaming the Emmys and they can all be easily found on a smart TV or streaming device. Other streaming platforms include AT&T TV, Fubo TV, Hulu Live TV, Sling TV and YouTube TV. CBS’ streaming service Paramount+ will also be featuring the awards show.

For those who do not have access to any of these platforms, services like Hulu and YouTube offer a 30-day free trial and are great options for those who do not feel like committing to a full-paid subscription.

In addition to watching online, viewers can expect to see several nominated shows like "Bridgerton," "The Crown," and "The Boys," which were hit during the pandemic.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, WarnerMedia’s HBO and HBO Max received 130 nominations combined, followed by Netflix with 129, Disney+ with 71, Apple TV+ with 35, Hulu with 25 and Amazon Prime Video with 20.

This year’s awards will be held outdoors in Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater. Hosted by comedian and actor Cedric the Entertainer, the Emmys will be more exclusive than usual with only about 500 guests compared to the usual thousands, CNBC reported. These changes ensure COVID-19 safety protocols, which will include testing all participants, requiring vaccinations and ensuring that everyone is wearing a mask when they are not on camera.
