The ending of “Game of Thrones” with season 8 is very emotional for the cast members, but the actors appear to be equally concerned about how the fans will react after seeing the show. There have been countless theories about how things will pan out, and now the fans will finally get to see if they were right.

In a recent interview, cast member Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) spoke about the ending and also suggested that some fans will be disappointed with what they see. There are a few remaining contenders for the Iron Throne, and one of the two queens appear set to rule the Seven Kingdoms, if they beat the Night King. However, the show is infamous for it’s shocking deaths and major twists, and the same can be expected in the final season.

In an interview with IGN Turner said that there were a lot of tears in the room when the cast members read the script of the final season for the first time together. She said that the story and the experience on the show has been satisfying for her and her fellow cast members. However, she said that she can’t say the same about the fans who are going to watch the last six episodes next year. Not all fans apparently will find the experience satisfying.

“I think a lot of fans will be disappointed and a lot of fans will be over the moon, I think. I think it will be really interesting to see people’s reactions, but for me reading the script it was just like heartbreaking to read at the very final page of the script it just says, ‘End of Game of Thrones’. That was really emotional,” Turner said.

“Game of Thrones” season 8 is set to air some time in 2019.
