Huawei has another new phone up its sleeve, the P9 Max, a sequel to the P8 flagship device noted by GizmoChina through the AnTuTu benchmarking tool.

Right now, however, Huawei fans are excited about the Mate 8 release on November 26. They’ve now got something more to cheer about with the P9 Max powered by latest Kirin 950 chipset.

If rumours are true, the P9 Max will have high-end specs that should boost the phone’s performance and efficiency. The benchmark suggests the device will come with 64 GB internal storage boosted with 4 GB of RAM, reports Tech Frag.

Those with a penchant for huge displays will love the phone that’s expected to feature a 6.2-inch screen packed with 2K resolution with the latest Android 6.0 OS running at its core. The phone is a gamble for gamers, however, since its graphics aren’t as good as other flagship devices.

It’s 3D graphics score of 16, 822 points is much lower to most other smartphones, notably the Meizu Pro 5, which also features the Exynos 7420 chipset powered by octa-core CPU combined with Mali y-760 and MP8 GPU.

As for its other features, the Huawei P9 Max managed to garner above 73, 000 points on AnTuTu benchmark testing. You can expect the device to impress you in many ways.

There’s a lot to be found on the P9 Max that will soon receive TENAA certification. This will give a clear understanding of the new device and how it will eventually fare, according to The Phone Bulletin.

Huawei is expected to furnish more information about the P9 Max soon after the release of Mate 8.
