Lady Gaga opted for a white gown to attend an Emmys after-party in Los Angeles on Sunday night. Her show stopping white number was from her stylist Brandon Maxwell’s eponymous label.

Maxwell showcased his Spring/Summer 2016 collection at the New York fashion Week on Sept. 15. The daring dress had a V-shaped plunging neckline and was strapless. The bandeau maxi featured puff-ball sleeves and it showed off Gaga’s tattoos. The entertainer showed off her inimitable style in the form-fitting floor-length gown that was puffed up at the back, Mirror UK reported.

On the NYFW catwalk, Maxwell showcased the dress (look 6) in black. The sweeping ball gown in a neutral colour palette drew a lot of applause from the crowd. The singer who loves her friend and was at his show as a guest of honour, said; “ I can wear them any time, all the time. They’re for the woman who likes to be dressed well and who likes to enjoy things that are made well.”

The 29-year-old singer’s white confection was a custom version of the black gown showcased on the runway. The collection is not available to purchase yet.

Earlier in the day, the “Bad Romance” hit maker also opted for a sleek black dress from Maxwell’s debut collection. She kept her look understated in the number. The asymmetric black gown was also seen on the runway and featured one-shoulder.

Mother Monster looked classic in the black gown as she channelled Grace Kelly. Gaga also went soft with her beauty look, courtesy makeup artist Sarah Nicole Tanno for Marc Jacobs Beauty. The makeup artist said that since it was the singer’s first time at the Emmys, they wanted to keep her look very classic. She added that it took only 20 minutes to create her fresh and effortless style.

Tanno said that since the dress had a beautiful silhouette, they did not want the look to distract from the dress. Her blonde locks were styled by Frederic Aspiras, who was also inspired by “Grace Kelly’s effortless elegance” and “wanted to create something soft and touchable.”

Maxwell on his part said Gaga was his Grace Kelly and his muse. He accessorized the singer with Lorraine Schwartz jewellery and shared a picture star on Instagram.
