Ellen DeGeneres explained that she initially bagged the role of Anastasia Steele but her part got cut out so she decided to release the trailer for the fans to see her work.

In the YouTube video published on Wednesday, Nov. 26, Ellen DeGeneres shared that she has been sharing on the show the films that she got cast in but her part always ends up getting cut out. The 56-year-old TV host revealed to the audience that she experienced the same thing again with the upcoming "Fifty Shades of Grey" film.

"I'm so happy and proud to say I got the lead role. I'm definitely going to be the lead in the movie," DeGeneres said to the audience. The TV host further claimed that the production team behind the film acts like the lead actress is Dakota Johnson but it is really her in the movie trailer.

"Because no one knows their way around a whip more than me," the TV host teased as her audience cheered on. Afterwards, Ellen DeGeneres showed her trailer which is a spoof from Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan's official "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie trailer.

The hilarious trailer featured Ellen DeGeneres as the Anastasia Steele that Christian Grey meets in his office. "I'm not the man for you," Christian Grey declares and Ellen DeGeneres responds that the handsome billionaire should not believe all of the rumours that he hears.

The spoof trailer ends with Christian Grey bringing Anastasia Steele to his Red Room of Pain. "Oh, hell no!" Ellen DeGeneres exclaimed after seeing the whips and chains inside the room. Watch the "Ellen in '50 Shades of Grey'" spoof trailer below. It currently has over 900,000 views on YouTube.
