Ellen DeGeneres Makes Surprise Guest Appearance At Conan To Give Audience A Holiday Gift [WATCH VIDEO]

On Tuesday night, Dec. 16, the audience of late-night show "Conan" received a double surprise. Ellen DeGeneres made a brief guest appearance where the TV host and comedienne gave the thrilled audience a holiday gift.

In the video shared on YouTube, TV host Conan O'Brien got interrupted by a female audience who played the violin that she received as a free gift on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." The woman explained to Conan O'Brien that Ellen DeGeneres has been giving her audience gifts as part of the show's "12 Days of Giveaways" for the holiday season.

The woman continued to show the 51-year-old TV host the gifts that she received from Ellen. The items included an espresso machine, a gold medal from the Olympics, an iPhone 9, an MRI machine and a pair of Jon Hamm's used basketball shorts.

Conan O'Brien apologized to the woman and explained that he does not give presents to the studio audience. "Those gifts are wonderful. Ellen's terrific. I just can't do that. It's a lot of work," O'Brien stated.

The TV host further explained that the best gift that he could give to his audience is the gift of laughter. The woman got upset so she decided to call Ellen DeGeneres using the iPhone 9 that she received. "Hello? Can you believe this creep? No gifts!" the woman declared.

Then, Ellen DeGeneres stepped out holding an iPhone 9 and responding to the complaint of the female audience. "I don't know what to say about that," DeGeneres stated as the audience screamed and applauded.

Conan O'Brien told Ellen DeGeneres that her method of giving gifts is causing him some trouble with an audience member. "I agree the gift of laughter is the most important gift, but people like free stuff also. You never give them anything?" DeGeneres asked.

Conan O'Brien felt the pressure of giving away free stuff so he offered some of the gluten-free Fig Newtons that he has in his car. Then, Ellen asked the audience if they would rather have Conan's gluten-free Fig Newtons or something that she brought with her.

According to a Mail Online report, the gag appears to be pre-planned but the audience were still thrilled to receive Ellen DeGeneres' holiday gift for them which is the Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.
