It looks like fans of “Dying Light” won’t have to wait much longer for new content, as developer of the game Techland has announced that the upcoming hard mode patch and the Ultimate Survival Bundle DLC will be coming next week. Both the “Dying Light” patch and the new DLC are coming on March 10.

The much-touted hard mode is something that Techland has been hyping up for awhile now, promising much harder enemies and harder nighttime scenarios. Resources will also be scarce for this mode, so players are going to have to be resourceful and smart if they want to survive the new “Dying Light” hard mode.

According to Gamespot, the “Dying Light” 1.4 patch is much more than just a new difficulty setting. An additional tier was added to weapon rarity levels and there will reportedly be more rewards for players who finish the game. In addition to that, there will also be more outfits for the playable characters and dozens of new weapons to use for survival against the undead.

This new “Dying Light” patch will also fix several bugs that have been plaguing the game, while improving on small things. An article from VG247 states that improvements have been made to the game’s performance and gameplay balance, while also improving the online functions of the title and the fluidity of the game’s graphics.

The Ultimate Survival Bundle appears to be a mixture of serious and silly, as the “Dying Light” DLC pack comes with various new weapons and outfits, one of which is a ninja costume. This could possibly add some much needed comedy to the somewhat depressing nature of the game’s story and setting.

Weapons from the Ultimate Survival Bundle include the Constable, the Night Club, Lacerator, and the Buzz Killer. Outfits for the pack include the aforementioned Ninja outfit, an Urban Explorer suit and a Special Agent costume. Fans can purchase the Ultimate Survival Bundle for $4.99, but can also get it as part of the “Dying Light” season pass. Fans who purchase the season pass will automatically get the content on the day of arrival for $19.99
