"Days Of Our Lives" soap recap

In the previous episode, Justin tried to give a good reason behind Hope’s crime, telling the court that she’s suffering from PTSD after years of captivity and abuse. He even provided two psychiatric evaluations to prove that Hope pulled the trigger due to reacting to years of torture. Justin denied that the murder was pre-mediated. When Hope took the stand, she said the incident was unclear, but took responsibility for her actions. Andre and Chad also had their say about the case.

Later, the judge returned and said that the crime wasn’t pre-meditated. While Hope won’t get the death penalty, she gets the maximum sentence of 25 years in prison for second degree murder, with no possibility of parole. The judge’s announcement resulted to a pandemonium. As Hope's was taken away, her loved ones promised to fight, while the others cry in despair.

Elsewhere, Brady turned up at Salem Inn, where Theresa said she’ll be. A half-naked Guillermo opened the door. Brady went inside and spotted Theresa, who’s wearing only a negligee, with cocaine. When Guillermo touched Theresa provocatively and asked Brady to join them, Brady threw him up against the wall.
