'Days of Our Lives' spoilers for Jan 9 -13, 2017: Team goes on a manhunt for Stefano; Chad and Abigail try to reconnect; Austin and Carrie help Anna and Marlena

This week on “Days of Our Lives” (DOOL), some will go on a search to find someone they value very much, while there will be others who will resort to desperation. Viewers are in to see if these tough events bring them closer or tear them apart.

The official synopsis reveals that on Monday , January 9, Hattie Adams (Deidre Hall) will give Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) some advice on how to handle Coco (Lauren Letherer) and Sheila (Tionne Watkins), but Hope will insist in carrying out things in her own way. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Paul Narita (Christopher Sean) will arrive in Prague to launch on their search for Stefano (Joseph Mascolo).
Rafe will need some help as he works to clear out Hope’s name. There have been some significant sightings of Stefano in Europe and Rafe needs to track him down as soon as he can. He wants Hope to get out of prison before she ends up dead.
On Tuesday, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) will try to reconnect as they go on a night out. Soaps She Knows writes that they will take Thomas for a pleasant day out. They will spend some time as a family in vain hopes that they will reconnect.
On Wednesday, Austin Reed (Austin Peck) and Carrie Brady (Christie Clark) will show up to get Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and Marlena out of a tough situation. It is also revealed that while fans can expect Austin and Carrie to be around for about six or seven episodes, while Anna will be seen on the show for much longer.
On Thursday, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) gets curious when she receives a phone call from JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) which says that it is important that the two of them see each other. On Friday, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will awaken from her long coma.
“Days of Our Lives” airs on NBC every Monday to Thursday on NBC in the United States. It also airs every weekdays on Arena in Australia.
