In the celebrity world, people cannot tell what is real and what is not. There have been instances that celebrities are airbrushed to the point where they themselves cannot recognize the person they are. Activists and other campaigns have been actively going against the mentality that the media provides women especially young women who are conscious of their figures.

Researchers have said that providing unrealistic body frames and promoting the "0" size mentality has caused many women to hate and become even more insecure of their bodies. These are some of the leading causes for mental illnesses such as bulimia and anorexia, which are eating disorders.

The Huffington post recently revealed the celebrities who opted to show their real photos, the unretouched photos before any airbrushing was done on these photos. There are times when people would even wonder why magazines had to even edit the photos when the celebrities look even better naturally.

Kim Kardashian has been a household name in the editing of photos. The star that is known for her curvaceous body has been criticized of having her photos edited and photoshopped many times. The reality television star cleared these rumors when she posted a photo taken for a magazine promoting the cause that women should love their curves, where she is seen wearing nothing but her birthday suit and looking all natural.

Britney Spears has also undergone quite a lot of the editing, the "Princess of Pop," had posted the unretouched photo of herself for her fans to see that she is not perfect but still looking hot after having two sons.

The media world has been providing women with an unrealistic sense that they should be this and not be who they really are. Yet, these celebrities who show people that everyone comes in different shapes, sizes and color can still look really good.
