Love against all odds continues to hound the Forresters on the last salvo of “The Bold and the Beautiful” (“B&B”) this week. On Friday, Eric (John McCook) gets all fired up for a life ahead with Quinn (Rena Sofer). He calls for a family meeting, and fans wonder whether he’ll be making a big announcement.

Meanwhile, Thomas (Pierson Fode) acts like Sasha’s (Felicia Cooper) knight in shining armour against her father. Other “The Bold and the Beautiful” cast members who will appear on the Aug.12 installment include Quinn (Rena Sofer), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), Rick (Jacob Young), Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, Liam (Scott Clifton), Wyatt (Darin Brooks) and Bill (Don Diamont).

TV Guide reports that on Friday’s episode of the “Bold and the Beautiful,” Eric gathers the Forresters to talk about his affair with Quinn. Meanwhile, Thomas stands up for Sasha as she continues to get bullied by Julius.

The show’s official YouTube channel posted a preview video for the Aug.12 episode. It features multiple scenes with Ridge, Wyatt, Julius and Sasha.

Ridge opens the clip as he expresses concern about Eric. “He’s still alone, he’s still a target,” Ridge says. “If Quinn comes back, she’s going to take advantage of him again.”

On the next scene, Julius has harsh words for Sasha. “I am working very hard to get Viv to forgive me, and your presence is a constant reminder of her pain,” he tells her.

Wyatt also figures in the trailer as he insists that Quinn and Eric are over. “He broke it off with her,” Wyatt reveals. “They’re done.”

It doesn’t seem to be the case, however, as Eric tells Quinn, “You encouraged me to take a look at the future.”

In the previous episode, Bill was stunned after Liam informed him that Quinn is Eric’s new woman. Liam told his father that they have to get Steffy away from Wyatt to protect her from Quinn. Speaking of Quinn, Wyatt confirmed with her that her affair with Eric has ended. Quinn was floored when her son asked her to skip town and keep her distance from them.

Elsewhere, Eric shocked his family after telling them about Quinn. Steffy was livid, insisting that it could impact negatively on the company and their family. She wondered, “Are you honestly going to tell me she is not targeting you?” Ridge seconded Steffy as the two said they won’t allow him to continue seeing Quinn. Eric blew his top and said he’s not a child and still the company’s CEO. Eric walked off. He headed to Quinn’s hotel. They ranted about their children treating them like children. Quinn asked, “Is it over?” and Eric replied, “It’s just beginning.”
