The midseason finale for “The Blacklist” has probably left a lot of fans restless over what comes next. As Season 4 Episode 9 of “The Blacklist,” titled “Lippet’s Seafood Company” airs, fans are already brushing up trivia and theories.

It is speculated that this upcoming episode will focus on following allegiances as the characters get tested during a probe on an international terrorist. In the meantime, the identity of the mole in the task force might finally be revealed. Meanwhile, Aram (Amir Arison) will be facing a consequence when his girlfriend hacks into the FBI computer system. As for Red (James Spader), he will be cashing in on a favour.

TV Fanatic takes a closer look at the preview photos that have been released recently for this episode of “The Blacklist. The photos show that the team has been digging into their latest case for the new year. This could only mean that a lot of new mysteries and truths are about to be revealed to viewers very soon.

More of Red is likely as it seems that he is up to his usual antics. One photo shows someone sitting down, apparently being interrogated by him. This only means a lot of trouble for the other person, whoever that may be.

Another photo shows the team working together. While they could be strategizing their next move or discussing their New Year’s resolutions, it looks like something is brewing. It seems Liz Keen (Megan Boone) does not believe whatever Samar Navabi (Mozhan Marno) is saying, while Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) and Harold look like they are listening intently. This could mean tension from within.

One photo appears particularly warm and it shows Samar and Aram hugging. They are all smiles as they wrap each other in their arms. This is quite pleasing to see that they look happy despite dealing with headaches that blacklisters throw at them.

The Blacklist” returns from its winter break January 5 on NBC. In Australia, it will air on Channel Seven.
