As the episode sets up, viewers should be reminded for the show’s tradition of season enders for “The Blacklist.” The show will showcase a very different landscape by the time the season concludes. Those who might remember should expect another cliffhanger that will have viewers talking about until the show returns next year.
The official synopsis provides that Red (James Spader) will be cooking up the pressure on Dr. Adrian Shaw to locate a former patient. Liz (Megan Boone) will be contemplating on the implication of her ties to an increasingly desperate and dangerous Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen).
Despite having a slim chance of survival in the first part of the episode, Kirk is still alive but it is suspected that he might not be hanging around for too long. This show has already established its trend for eradicating many of recurring villains as the show hits the tenth episode so that might begin with Kirk.
In the promo, Red is seen offering his own life for Liz after it appears that she is captured at the hospital following the news that she is not really Kirk’s daughter. Kirk’s could already be a ticking time bomb with his condition but he could somehow still find means and ways to still get furious and pressure Red for the answer which everyone wants to know. Knowing how creative the show’s writers can get, a lot is to be expected as Liz’s paternity ties will be unveiled later on.
The episode’s title could only mean that this storyline in this season is about to be closed. A lot is to be expected as Red will lay the pressure on Dr. Shaw, Liz will do a lot of thinking with her ties with Kirk and as Kaplan gets faced with a big decision.
This upcoming episode of “The Blacklist” will air this Thursday November 10 at 10 p.m. on the NBC Channel. It also airs on Channel 7 in Australia.
