Many celebrities are fans of the NBA, but there are a few who made a reputation for being die-hard. Some of these stars were even made fun of because of their deep allegiance to certain NBA teams. Here are the top five celebrities known for their avid NBA support.

1. Drake

The Canadian rapper is a fan of many basketball teams and players, particularly Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings and LeBron James during his time with the Miami Heat, based on a report by SB Nation. At one point, he invited Kevin Durant of the OKC Thunder to one of his concerts in Canada and asked the people to convince the reigning MVP to play for the Toronto Raptors.

2. Justin Bieber

The Canadian pop star is frequently seen on the sidelines of various NBA games, rooting for the Toronto Raptors particularly. USA Today reported that Bieber even resorted to social media to help Kyle Lowry make it to the 2015 All-Star Game. His efforts turned out to be successful, with Lowry garnering over 805,000 votes.

3. Jay Z and Beyonce

The rapper and singer couple are also frequently seen on the courtside of NBA games, drinking beer and watching with friends. Jay Z used to be a co-owner of the Brooklyn Nets but has dropped his ownership to focus more on being an agent, based on a report by MTV. According to Jay Z, he will always be a Brooklyn Net. He is also close friends with LeBron James.

4. Floyd Mayweather

The boxer, a good friend of Bieber and Jay Z, is also an avid NBA fan. He is often seen courtside watching the Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers. Recently, he personally met rival Manny Pacquiao for the first time at a Miami Heat-Milwaukee Bucks game.

5. Jack Nicholson

The actor is one of the greatest fans of the Los Angeles Lakers, regardless of how the team fares. For years, Nicholson has purchased courtside seats for the entire season. According to The Richest, he gets angry at referees for making bad calls and even talks trash with opposing players.
