The future of Daenerys Targaryen in "Winds of Winter" is subject of much speculation by the fans of the book series. Here is a look at some of the predictions that fans have made about the character in the upcoming book. [Warning: Spoiler Alert]

Daenerys Targaryen was last seen in the Dothraki sea, a vast plain land with grass. Khal Jhaqo later found her with her dragon towards the end of "A Dance with Dragons," without elaborating on the meeting between the two.

Fans of the book series will remember that Daenerys Targaryen swore to get revenge on Khal Jhaqo and his bloodrider Mago in the very first book, when Jaqo declared himself the Khal after the death of Daenerys Targaryen's husband. Jhaqo and Mago also raped a young girl under Daenerys' protection in that book.

Will the mother of dragons finally get her revenge on Jhaqo and Mago in "Winds of Winter"? Some of the member so Westeros forum believe so. The popular theory is that Daenerys will make both Jhaqo and Mago suffer, before killing them. She may later take over Jhaqo's Khalasar.

But Daenerys may not travel back to Meereen just yet and the fans believe the prospect of her travelling to Westeros in "Winds of Winter" is dim. But she may be heading to Vaes Dothrak to assemble all the different Khalasar's that are scattered across the land and subdue those who oppose her.

Readers should note that Vaes Dothrak is a city that is quite large and has the wives of the previous Khals living in the city. The wives of former Khals are a part of a group called Dosh Khaleen who enjoy high status among the Dothraki. One theory is that Daenerys will become a leading member of Dosh Khaleen.

If Daenerys spends most of "Winds of Winter" in Vaes Dothrak, the city of Meereen will need able hands to mount a defence and also manage the city. Some of the fans believe that the author sent Daenerys away on purpose to make room for Tyrion Lannister to enter the city and achieve some merit before the mother of dragons returns.
