The Internet has killed off once again another favorite celebrity target, actor Will Smith, with a death hoax report. The "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star allegedly died while filming his new movie in New Zealand and it made some fans send their condolences on social media sites like Twitter.

According to the Travelers Today report, one of the fake death reports of Will Smith came from Global Associated News claiming the 45-year-old actor died on Sunday morning, January 19. The death hoax reads: "Actor Will Smith died while filming a movie in New Zealand early this morning - January 19, 2014. Preliminary reports from New Zealand Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set. Specific details are not yet available.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. (UTC/GMT +12)."

Some fans who became victims to this cruel prank expressed their concern over the issue since a message at the bottom of the generator's site claims fake stories are created for the purpose of entertainment. A portion of the note reads: "This is an entertainment website, and this is a totally fake article based on zero truth and is a complete work of fiction for entertainment purposes! This story was dynamically generated using a generic 'template' and is not factual. Any reference to specific individuals has been 100% fabricated by web site visitors who have created fake stories by entering a name into a blank 'non-specific' template for the purpose of entertainment."

A previous death hoax has also troubled Will Smith when the report claimed he died during surgery but the "Men in Black" star is very much alive and doing just fine. The Hollywood superstar is currently working on his upcoming movie for this year 2014 titled "Focus."

Additionally, Will Smith will be making a guest appearance on the "Tonight Show" with Jimmy Fallon. In the Daily News report, the 39-year-old host revealed to the reporters at the 2014 Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour that Will Smith and Golden Globe-winning band U2 will be present when he starts to wear Jay Leno's shoes on February 17.
