We promise you would have never ever read anything like this before directly coming from a super model herself and giving us a honest and true account why she is ranked number 4 among the Top sexiest models by Models.com

World supermodel Australian Miranda Kerr has been repeatedly dished on her beauty secrets. Nothing comes easy in life and who can better justify this than the Victoria's Secret model.

Last week she answered to a series of question put to her by Ms Namita Nayyar, president, Women Fitness. Namita herself being a diet & fitness promoter was very inquisitive to know how serious was Miranda about her nutritional status. To that this is what the supermodel had to say " I adopt the 80/20 rule. 80% healthy and organic, 20% indulgent and that works for me and my body personally. I indulge occasionally and avoid counting calories.

Miranda says "Ideally when I can, I like to start my day with a fresh pressed green juice with kale, cucumber, spinach, parsley and lemon. Half an hour later I like to make a smoothie I will then have organic eggs or oatmeal for breakfast. That works for me and is a great way to get my body started for the day. I believe breakfast is one of the most important meals in the day."

Counting Calories is a complicated business and one that is bound to leave you in midst of a maze. Conscious healthy eating combined with an active lifestyle would no doubt serve a better realistic option. Focusing a major chunk of your diet on organic and healthy eating is bound to leave you on the top of health. Indulgence occurring unto 20% is acceptable, when you know what you are putting into your mouth. All of us have desire for certain foods and drinks, If you try to suppress thoughts of the foods you desire, it is bound to increase your desire to have them more. The more you think about them, the more you will not want to have them, because the brain will reduce the cravings for those foods automatically. Watch out! Kerr likes to indulge on fatty French fries and rich dark chocolate.

Miranda Kerr diet secrets scientifically deciphered

Miranda begins her day with fresh pressed green juice made out of detoxifiers- kale, cucumber, spinach, parsley and lemon. Kale is king & one of the nutrition stand-outs among vegetables. It fights fat through its ability to mingle in a variety of roles -- in side dishes, combined in main dishes, or in salads. In addition to beta-carotene, kale posses other important carotenoids: lutein and zeaxathin. These carotenoids help keep UV rays from damaging the eyes and causing cataracts. Parsley is loaded with magnesium for strong bones. Spinach is an excellent source of Vitamin A which is super beneficial for the eyes. Cucumber is rich in silica, a mineral which strengthens the connective tissue in hair and hence prevent hair breakage. Lemon is rich in Vitamin C and is an important home remedy for common cold. This combination works in raising body's defense mechanism. Taken in fresh state helps maintain their optimum nutritional level.

The manganese in kale helps your body's own antioxidant defense system, superoxide dismutase, protecting you from damaging free radicals. Its folate and B6 team up to keep homocysteine levels down, which may help prevent heart disease, dementia, and osteoporosis bone fractures.

Almost half an hour later comes in the smoothie made out of sun warrior protein powder, goggi berries, noni juice, viatmineral greens, chia seeds, bee pollen, raw cacao powder, macca powder and acai powder. Followed by organic eggs and oatmeal. What a wonderful energy packed way to start your day.

Goji berries are packed full with antioxidants, amino acids and essential fatty acids. Noni Juice promotes massive cellular regeneration and hormonal balance. Chia is a plant which, like flax seed, has a great deal of healthy omega-3 fatty acid in it (5 grams in 2 tablespoons). That is a good thing. Omega-3s are known to reduce inflammation and help the body fight off some of the effects of aging. It is believed the seeds could help promote weight loss, improve cardiovascular health and even help the rise in insulin levels due to insulin resistance in a sucrose-rich diet. The test results so far have been mixed.

Bee pollen contains vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, lipids, and protein. It comes from the pollen that collects on the bodies of bees. Bee pollen may also include bee saliva. It is recommended by some herbalists to enhance athletic performance, reduce side effects of chemotherapy, and improve allergies and asthma. However, bee pollen is not safe for pregnant women. A woman should also avoid using bee pollen if she is breastfeeding.
