The Ting Tings won't be heading Down Under
The Ting Tings won't be coming to Australia later this month. The UK band have announced that their visit will be "delayed", but no reasons were given. They are currently in a studio in Berlin finishing their new album, which is a follow up to We Started Nothing.
This means that the Ting Tings will no longer perform at the Splendour in the Grass, nor on the sideshows set for Monday 26th July at Melbourne's Palace Theatre, Melbourne and Wednesday 28th July at Sydney's Enmore Theatre.
Ticket-holders can claim their refunds.
The tickets bought for the Melbourne and Sydney concerts with the use of a credit card will be automatically refunded. In the meantime, those who used cash must go back where they bought the tickets from and must present a photo ID to get the cash refund.
Reports say that Art vs Science will replace the Ting Tings at Splendour in the Grass. Their appearance in the Splendour will be the start of their 'Magic Fountain' tour. Tickets for their two Hi-Fi Bar shows in Melbourne have already sold out.
