The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is expected to come out with high-end specs that are much better than the ones featured in its predecessor, the Surface Pro 3. While the company has kept mum about the upcoming tablet's specs, the Internet has been abuzz with what to expect when the device finally comes out.

With regards to its overall design, tech users believe that it will not look so different from the Surface Pro 3. After all, Brian Hall, the Director of Marketing for Microsoft, did previously reveal that all accessories made for the Surface Pro 3 "will be compatible with the next generation of the Pro line of Surface." Clearly, the device's famous Type Cover is among the accessories referred to by Hall, in addition to its dockin station, Ethernet adapter and power adapter.

Design & Trend, meanwhile, is convinced that the Surface Pro 4 is going to be released in two different variants, based from information from the Chinese website cnBeta. However, the link from the Chinese site is no longer active.

The report claimed that one of the Surface Pro 4 variants will feature a 12-inch screen display, while the other one will be a 14-inch device. As mentioned in the report, both of these versions are going to boast 2K resolution - just like the Surface Pro 3 - at 2,160 x 1,440 pixels.

The Surface Pro 4 is also going to get an upgraded N-Trig stylus, according to Business News Daily. It has now been made more sensitive to touch, as compared to the line's previous models. Plus, paired with the newly released Windows 10, the stylus is given more functions.

It was also reported that Surface Pro 4 users can now annotate web pages without difficulty before saving them into the cloud. Apart from that, the device will also have a much improved text recognition technology that could make turning written notes into digital texts much easier.

Microsoft may not have an official product cycle for its Surface Pro line, but the Surface Pro 4 is expected to debut in the market sometime in October.
